Cindy Raplee

Physical Therapy Assistant

undefinedCindy’s physical therapy clients benefit from her 25 years of experience in the fitness field. In that time, she has worked with patients of all ages and abilities to achieve health and wellness.

After many years as a certified fitness instructor, teaching classes in pre- and post-natal, healthy back, fitness for seniors, and advanced fitness for athletes, Cindy earned her Personal Training Certification from the American Council on Exercise. Cindy continued her education at PhysicalMind Institute, earning her certification as a Pilates Apparatus Trainer.

For fifteen years Cindy was the sole owner and operator of a pilates company where she combined all her knowledge to create a program that focused on muscle imbalance, joint dysfunction, and their effects on functional movement. Adding to her knowledge Cindy studied Mennell and Travell approach to Joint dysfunction and trigger point therapy.

Knowing her experience and abilities would be of service in the physical therapy field, Cindy pursued her associate degree in applied science, graduating with high honors as a physical therapist assistant from Union County College. Combining all her knowledge, Cindy enjoys educating patients, offering strategies to minimize pain while in motion. She has treated Parkinson’s disease, balance deficits, and a variety of orthopedic conditions.

In her spare time Cindy likes to spend time with family and friends, garden, and read. She stays active by going for hikes, taking long walks, and practicing Pilates.
