Clinical Director & Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Erik Hums is the clinical director of ProFysio’s Old Bridge facility. He specializes in orthopedics and manual therapy, and has a passion for providing his patients with the highest quality care. Erik earned his Physical Therapy Doctorate from the Saint Francis University School of Health Sciences in Loretto, PA. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Erik is one of 26 Physical Therapists in the state of New Jersey to hold that title, and one of only two in Monmouth County. Erik has been practicing physical therapy for 9 years, and his goal is not only to help you recover from your injury, but to find and address the underlying cause so that your success is long term and life changing. He has also earned TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Level 1 Medical Professional Certification and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
